Welcome to ExamCoach. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ExamCoach website (https://examcoach.hillbyte.com) and the ExamCoach Mobile Application (collectively, the "Service"), provided by Hillbyte ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

1. User Accounts & Registration

• You may access certain practice features as a guest or register an account via phone number OTP verification.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate and current information and not to impersonate any individual or entity.

2. Subscriptions, Pro Passes & Payments

• Free Features: Candidates receive access to daily practice questions, select past papers, syllabus outlines, and daily AI query quotas.
• Pro Passes: Premium subscriptions provide expanded question banks, full mock test papers archive, and a higher daily AI assistant query limit than the free plan (see current limits on the Pricing page).
• Billing: Payments are processed via Razorpay. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable GST as displayed at checkout.
• Refund Policy: Pro passes provide immediate digital access upon activation. If you experience technical failure or double-charging, contact contact@hillbyte.com within 48 hours for resolution.

3. AI Exam Coach Fair Use Policy

• The AI Exam Coach is powered by advanced LLM models to provide educational explanations, mnemonics, and syllabus summaries.
• You agree not to use the AI Coach to generate abusive, unlawful, sexually explicit, defamatory, or harmful content.
• Automated scripting, scraping, or botting of AI responses or the question bank is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate permanent account termination.
• AI explanations are provided for study guidance; while we strive for the highest accuracy, candidates should cross-verify with official syllabuses and standard reference textbooks.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

The software code, design, trademarks, AI prompt engineering, customized explanations, and interactive features of ExamCoach are the proprietary property of Hillbyte. You may not copy, reverse engineer, redistribute, or commercially exploit any part of our platform without prior written consent.

5. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that violates these Terms, infringes upon intellectual property, or is harmful to other users or our business operations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hillbyte and ExamCoach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunities, or exam outcomes arising from your use of the Service.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts located in Aizawl, Mizoram, India.
